In-House 3D BIM (Building Information Model) Project
T Allen Engineering Services Ltd have recently been awarded a contract to design, manufacture, install and commission an overhead travelling crane for use on Minworth STW.
We were tasked to collaborate with the water utility and the appointed tier 1 contractor to design a solution capable of lifting a series of newly installed pumps. The project required full development and submission of 3D models to be submitted into the contractors overall BIM.
Our dedicated in house design engineer David Johnson managed the project utilising Solidworks software to ensure that a ‘right first time’ solution will be manufactured and installed on site.
